Jump for Adventure, Discovery and Outdoor Learning - an exciting new project for Hertfordshire
Jump is based at Aldenham Country Park.We are developing Aldenham Country Park’s Woodland Adventure and Activity Zone with spectacular monkey scramble nets up in the trees, challenging tree climbing activities with thrilling descents on rope zip wires, giant rope swings and an amazing aerial tree course for younger children. Jump has been working in partnership with Aldenham Country Park since April 2012 and runs activities there every day related to environmental education and woodcraft - see www.aldenhamcountrypark.co.uk to see what’s on and to hear more about what we are getting up to.
Aldenham Country Park is an oasis for quiet countryside enjoyment, outdoor recreation, farming education and a great value day out. The Park has recently been put under the management of Aldenham Renaissance with the aim of connecting people, land & food through participation & education providing free range outdoor experiences for people of all ages.
The Woodland experiences are based on the principles of forest schools. Find out more about Forest School by watching the positive impact that this Forest School in Oxfordshire has had for children in Reception and Year 1. www.teachers.tv/video/25243
